Splash Page Maker free report

I’ve found an excellent splash page maker, so I’m trying it out, and I’ve found it’s very easy to make a splash page or lead capture page with. Here’s one of my splash pages if you’d like to have a look: Build your list with ease.

What is a splash page?  Basically, it’s a page which loads very fast and makes a point very briefly, to capture the attention of surfers at traffic exchanges.  It makes them want to enter their email address for more information (in the case of a lead capture page) or to click on a button to get taken to your main page.

Statistically, people get up to 500% better response to splash pages than they do to standard affiliate pages.  There are several reasons for this.  A splash page tends to be unique, as the creator puts across their own point of view, or states a fact about the product or program which they are selling that really attracts people.  People have seen the affiliate page many times, they may have decided it’s not for them and they are just ignoring it, or it may be too full of detail and they never stopped to really check it out.  A splash page captures attention and makes people look twice.

If you’d like to learn more about splash pages in general, click on the free report.

Here are some more of my splash pages: Best Free Home Jobs team page (781 views and 6 clicks this week), Scam or not (252 views and 4 clicks), and Responder Series (233 views, 3 clicks).  As you can see, these pages are not slick or fancy, but you won’t get that many clicks on your standard affiliate page, believe me.  These pages were all made and hosted at TE Toolbox.  The only thing you can’t do with the TE Toolbox splash pages is to insert script, so I can’t use them for lead capture pages because the autoresponder script is not accepted.  That’s what sent me looking for a splash page maker which would handle that.  TE Toolbox is free to join, and if you upgrade at StartXchange you’ll get a free upgrade at TE Toolbox, which will allow you to make more splash pages, add more url’s to the rotator, and so on.

Autopilot Cash Streams – worth a look

I’m testing out AutoPilot Cash Streams. It looks like a good concept. At the most basic level, you can join for free, sign up for 4 free income streams, and promote your link.  Every person who signs up then has 8 emails sent to them on your behalf, all promoting your referral links for your income streams.  When people sign up and take the paid option, you get a commission.  The system gets even more interesting if you have a “gift” to add to it, such as your own ebook, which makes you a contributor.  Somehow all the ebooks in the system can be used as incentives to get people to sign up, which of course is great, because then other people are then potentially using your ebook with your links for promotion.  I’ll test out the system for a while and then post my results here.  If it gives me good results, I’ll recommend it to my list as an option.

Internet Marketing Success Formula

I’ve just come across this great little e-book by Soren Jordansen.  It is packed full of relevant information, covering topics from “what is a typical internet marketer” right through to how to build your list and drive traffic to your squeeze pages.  The information is fresh, new and useful, and since I’m building my first list, I find it very interesting.

The download is free, but if you take up the one-time-offer, you can get rebranding rights and higher commissions in the affiliate program (which is free to join).

The Science of Getting Rich – a great little book!

So much of getting rich (or not) relies on our own attitudes, beliefs and habits of mind.  Each person has their own unique journey to make towards their abundance, and it takes more than simply finding the right product or right system.  The mystery of what is inside me which makes my life run the way it does has puzzled me more than the relatively simple mechanics of learning any new system ever could!

I’ve just downloaded and been reading “The Science of Getting Rich”.  This is an old book, written in the early 1900’s, and yet the concepts fit right in with current thoughts being promoted in “The Secret” and other empowering books and movies.  Somehow the author has covered the issue from all angles, so that whatever your obstacle is, you have a chance to see it and do something about it.  I am so happy to have had this book cross my path at this point.  It is giving me the next pieces of the puzzle.

If you feel that you have worked hard enough and are not getting the results you want, I suggest you click and get yourself a free copy of “The Science of Getting Rich“.  Maybe it will hold some pieces to your puzzle too.

How to find success on the internet

Why is it that 97% of internet marketers fail? What sets apart the other 3% which allows them to “win”? And how can we become part of that 3%?

(This is a statistic which is commonly spouted by internet marketers. I don’t know if it is a true statistic, or not, but for the purposes of this story let’s just say they are true. The exact number doesn’t matter.)

From what I can see on the traffic exchanges, there are a lot of people looking for the magic key which will unlock the door to success, and just as many touting their particular product or method as the answer. Yet each proposed solution ends up becoming just another thing which people compete to promote, while the statistics seem not to vary.

What if the key to success is not in finding the “right” approach or the right product? What if all those things which people try so hard to implement and understand are only secondary? What if most of us are looking in the wrong place for the answer?

I don’t know who the “typical” internet marketer is, though I have heard that internet marketers are amongst the richest group of consumers on the internet. Maybe we’re not that rich, just really, really optimistic, eager and hopeful to the point of imbalance.

What is it that makes people jump into the unknown waters of the internet and decide they can make huge money here, when they couldn’t do it in the physical world?

Are we over-reaching ourselves?

Perhaps it is time to look within and find our balance.

There are stories on the internet of “kids” of 21 who have suddenly made a fortune with this or that. I won’t argue and say the claims are false. Maybe some are, probably others aren’t. So if a 21 year old can do it, why is it so hard for others? I know why. A 21 year old is fresh and new, they haven’t yet been dumped on their ass a hundred times in a hundred ways by life, until they no longer have the confidence that they can create or sustain anything. For the battle-weary, the first and most important challenge is to build up our confidence in our own ability to create what we want. This can best be done by taking small steps and seeing results along the way. It is not helpful to make grand and heroic gestures in the hopes of making huge amounts of money. That money will come once we rebuild ourselves from within, and not the other way around.

So, if you choose to be part of the 3% who “succeed”, begin with patience and tolerance for yourself. Develop your trust in yourself again. Know that you too can find success, one step at a time.

Wishing you success,
Carol Walczak.

p.s. Success is doing what you want. This means that only you can decide whether you are successful or not.

Why this site?

I’ve been on the internet for months, promoting business opportunities which looked very worthwhile but with very little result. You can see all the stuff I’ve been trying at my blog, Carol’s adventures in online business.

In that time I learned a lot, though.

I wanted to start bringing in money reliably and easily, and now! So, I turned to paid-to-click (ptc) for a manageable solution.

Paid to click is good for seed money or spending money, and many people are happy to do that alone, which is fine. It’s a good way to bring in some extra cash without stress or cost.

In addition to earning spending money, I wanted to build my own mailing list and have something to offer my readers. I wasn’t sure how to go about this, but I’d seen ads for free mentoring programs and so I signed up for one. It was very confirming to find that my new mentor was heavily into ptc, and he quickly got me started in some programs I hadn’t heard of before, but which pay well. He is also into “passive” programs (which I will build a list of soon) and traffic exchanges. I am learning his methods now and gradually setting myself up, so that soon I’ll be ready to take on people to mentor myself. You’ll know I’m ready when the signup box appears on this site!

I am very happy to have found something productive which I can do, after working hard for so long with nothing to show for it. This project will help me to make money, tie together all the things which I have been doing successfully, and allow me to grow my business into the future, step by step, as I am able.

The good online marketers say that you don’t need to be a sales pro if you are helping people to get what they want. I would like this site to be helpful to those who want to empower themselves financially, but don’t have massive amounts of money to throw at their projects just yet. It’s actually a good thing to start with very little money, it saves you making expensive mistakes!
